The artist who displayed his work at the Bill Brady art museum was Michael Manning. He did a lot of abstract work using digitals and prints that hung from the ceiling. He used a multitude of colors ad textures, all similar. He adds in real textured pieces (such as the chimes and stones on the ground), with the digitals and prints hanging from the ceiling. There are many abstract lines you can see in the work. You can also get many different emotions from his pieces. The light and airy digitals might show happiness and softness, but the one with the darker colors might represent lightning bolts and something more intense. I think he meant for his work to have different meanings, so everyone can relate to it in a way and feel something when they look at it. I think Michael Manning’s work has value because the colors and textures are beautiful, and it is set up in a very nice way.
